What We Believe

The following are the core beliefs of Graceway Community Church based on the foundational truths as taught in the Bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.

We believe that God is the creator and the sustainer of all life and desires a personal relationship with His creation. There is one eternally existing God who has three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is the creator of all that exists, both visible and invisible, and is therefore worthy of all glory, honor, and praise.  God is perfect in love, power, holiness, goodness, knowledge, wisdom,  justice, and mercy. He is unchangeable and therefore is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

We believe a Relationship with God is what He desires for each one of us.  That He made a way by sending His only Son Jesus to pay the penalty that keeps us form that relationship with our Creator.  This relationship only comes by believing and trusting on His Son, Jesus Christ and His work on the cross of Calvary.  

We believe that All have sinned and fall short of the God’s Glory. Humans, both male and female, were created in God's image for His glory. That the first humans, Adam and Eve, were created without sin and appointed as caretakers of the rest of God's creations. However, when they disobeyed Gods commands that when sin entered into the heart of man and thus was carried to every human born from that point on, as a result.

We believe in the Crucifixion, Burial, and physical Resurrection of Jesus, He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life and died for our sins. That resurrections was so that we may have Eternal life.  And now, by His grace, Jesus offers as a free gift eternal life to all who follow Him, by faith, as their Lord and Savior. That is why salvation can be found in Christ alone.

We believe that Eternity is a forever home called Heaven prepared for all those who trust Jesus and have their names written in the Lambs book of Life.

We believe that the Church is meant to be the visible body of Christ, sent into the world to glorify God and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ. Worshipping, studying, and growing in the faith and knowledge of the One True God and Him Alone, is essential in our development as disciples.

We believe in the Authority, Accuracy, and Sufficiency of Scripture which is God’s final word for all mankind. It is what we use as our standard for living and we strive daily to live by it's principles.
 

We believe that Jesus Christ is returning one day soon to judge both the living and the dead and to usher in the fullness of God's kingdom on earth and that YOU have the choice to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior and to follow Him all the days of your life or you have the choice to reject Him.
